  1. UNIDEN CP 5500

  3. NOTES:  This is a dual NAM handheld unit.
  4.         The ESN prefix is 172 decimal, AC hex.
  5.         Uniden: 1-800-638-0898, 817-858-3398
  6.         This is the first Uniden that can be programed without an adaptor.

  9. NAM PROGRAMING:
  10.  
  11. OPTIONAL: Use steps 1, 2 and 3 to select NAM.
  12.  
  13. 1.  Turn power on.
  14.  
  15. 2.  Optional: Select the NAM you want to program by entering 1 STO 9 0 for
  16.     NAM 1 or 2 STO 9 0 for NAM 2.
  17.  
  18. 3.  Turn the unit off.
  19.  
  20. 4.  Press the * and # keys togeather and hold while pressing the PWR key,
  21.     continue holding * and # until the display clears.
  22.  
  23. 5.  Release * and # and within 7 seconds enter: 3 2 2 1 8 5 9 1.  The first
  24.     step number and data entry (System ID) will appear.
  25.  
  26. 6.  Data can be programed in any order:
  27.  
  28.          Enter the single digit step number,
  29.          Enter the new data,
  30.          Press STO,
  31.          Enter the next item number... etc
  32.  
  33. 7.  At any time press SEND to complete programing, phone should then
  34.     display "PASS", press END to exit.  If "FAIL" appears try programing
  35.     again.

  48. 6        0 OR 1              PREFERRED SYSTEM (0 FOR "B", 1 FOR "A")
  49. 7        2 DIGITS            GROUP ID (10 IN USA)
  50. 8        4 DIGITS            LOCK CODE
  51. 9        0 OR 1              CONTINUOUS DTMF
  52.  
  53. LOCK: RCL 7 7 then four digit lock code.
  54.  
  55. UNLOCK: RCL 7 7 then four digit lock code.
  56.  
  57. SYSTEM SELECT: RCL 8 8 displays, STO N 8 8 changes, where N is:
  58. 1 = A only, 2 = B only, 3 = Home only, 4 = Pref/Non pref, 5 = Non pref/pref.
